Qigong
Seek movement within stillness; this is true stillness
Seek stillness within movement, this is true movement
An ancient Qigong principle

What Is Qigong?
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, controlled breathing, and focused intention. The word itself gives a sense of what it’s about — Qi means life energy, Gong means practice. Really, Qigong is about working with and balancing your energy, to support both body and mind.
A Different Way Into Mindfulness
Most of the people I work with are already drawn to mindfulness or stress reduction, but often find it hard to sit still with traditional meditation. Maybe you’re just starting out, dealing with a lot of stress, or you’re coming from a trauma-informed place where stillness doesn’t feel safe. That’s more common than you’d think — sitting still and turning inward can feel overwhelming, even unsafe, for a lot of people. Learn more about Mindfulness.
Why Qigong?
That’s where Qigong comes in. It’s a gentle, movement-based way into mindfulness. Instead of asking you to be completely still, it gives you something to do — a way to stay engaged while still building presence and awareness. And that can create a much stronger sense of safety, especially if you’re working through stress or trauma.
Benefits Of Regular Practice
The benefits can show up pretty quickly, but they also build over time. With regular practice, you’ll often notice:
Reduced Stress
Better Sleep
Improved Focus
Increased Energy
Supported Mobility
Strengthened Immunity
